Brooke + Richard

I met this lovely Wairarapa couple through a facebook message , Brooke had seen some of my work on Instagram and wanted to capture her and her partners engagement. They asked if i could suggest a place for the shoot, and of course, I had to pick Whitireira park in Porirua. This is my favourite place to capture romance in Wellington and the place I did my first ever couple shoot.

Although the forecast had looked perfect, on the day of the shoot it rained so we had to reschedule. A week went by and the weather started to fine up. As soon as possible we planned to meet up at Whitireira park around 6.30 pm .

Once finally meeting Brooke and Richard at our location, I introduced myself and talked through our gameplan. After a small walk in the park we found a nice spot. Surprisingly the weather held off for us and only had a bit of gloom in the area. We shared some good laughs and talked about their love journey and interests. I loved capturing Brook and Richard's personalities in these photos. I cannot wait to photograph these two on their big day. Thanks for being an awesome couple! It was an awesome day.
